This policy explains how LiveShoply (“we”, “us”), operated by Skytech Services LTD, collects and uses information when merchants install our Shopify app and when shoppers interact with LiveShoply on a merchant's store.
Information we collect
From merchants
- Store information provided by Shopify when you install the app: shop domain, store name, currency and an access token.
- Product information (titles, images, prices, variants) for products you tag in shows and videos.
- Order information limited to order ID, total, currency and the LiveShoply cart attribute, used only to attribute sales to shows and videos. We do not store customer names, addresses or payment details from orders.
- Content you create: shows, videos, recordings, settings and integration keys (e.g. Klaviyo).
From shoppers
- Email addresses that shoppers voluntarily submit to receive show reminders.
- Display names and messages typed into live chat, poll votes and giveaway entries.
- Anonymous usage events (views, watch time, add-to-cart) used for analytics and billing. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
How we use information
- To provide the service: streaming, replays, chat, reminders, analytics and billing.
- To send show reminder emails on the merchant's behalf, each with a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To generate captions and highlight suggestions from replays using AI models (Growth and Pro plans).
- To provide support and improve the product.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare (hosting, database, video streaming, email and AI processing) and Shopify (authentication and billing). If a merchant connects Klaviyo, subscriber emails are sent to the merchant's Klaviyo account.
Data retention and deletion
Merchant data is kept while the app is installed. When a merchant uninstalls, access tokens are revoked immediately and Shopify's shop redaction request removes the store's data from our database. Shoppers can unsubscribe from reminders at any time; Shopify customer redaction requests delete matching subscriber records.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information. Shoppers should contact the store where they signed up; merchants and anyone else can contact us at hello@liveshoply.app.
