What is live shopping?
Live shopping is a live video show on your own store where shoppers watch, chat and buy the products you're showing — without leaving the stream. Think of it as a TV shopping channel, run from your phone, with your Shopify checkout built in.
Do I need special equipment?
No. Most stores start with a phone and a ring light. Open the LiveShoply studio in your phone or laptop browser and tap Go live. If you already use OBS or a pro camera, you can stream over RTMP on the Starter plan and up.
Does checkout happen on my store?
Yes. Shoppers add products to your normal Shopify cart and check out with your existing Shopify checkout, payment methods and discounts. LiveShoply never takes a commission on your sales.
What happens after the show ends?
The show becomes a shoppable replay on your store automatically, so it keeps selling. On Growth and Pro, AI adds captions and suggests short highlight clips you can post on product pages in one click.
How is pricing calculated?
Plans include a monthly number of viewer minutes — one person watching for one minute. You only pay for the audience you actually reach, and there's a free plan to get started.
Will it slow down my store?
No. The storefront widget is a small script that loads after your page, and video only starts loading when a shopper opens it. It's installed as a Shopify app embed — no theme code edits.
